Sussex :
Standard colours;brown,buff,light,red,speckled,silver,white.
There is a bantam version.
One of the most famous and productive breeds of poultry, the docile Sussex are quite happy free ranging or being more confined. An exremely good layer in the Light and White varieties,the other colours not as good.the eggs are large and cream to light brown in colour. The Sussex are relatively easy and adaptable.
